Social Mentoring & Job/Life Coaching for Teens & Young Adults
If your teen would benefit from social mentoring, confidence-building, and job/life coaching all in one program, this is the perfect opportunity! Participants will step into a junior coach-in-training role, joining my summer program for younger kids in Grades K-5. In this role, they will not only absorb valuable social coaching but also gain real-world job experience under the guidance of an understanding and supportive mentor.
What This Program Offers:This experience is designed to help teens and young adults build social confidence, enhance communication skills, and strengthen their ability to navigate work and life challenges. Through hands-on engagement and in-the-moment coaching, participants will develop key skills, including:
- Independent functioning (self-management, responsibility, and initiative)
- Interpersonal and teamwork skills (active engagement, cooperation, and following group directions)
- Social communication (perspective-taking, social reciprocity, and conversational skills)
- Emotional intelligence (identifying, expressing, and regulating emotions)
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution (navigating challenges in social and work settings)
- Community-based social skills (engaging appropriately in group and public settings)
Teens and young adults who:
✔️ Are interested in social mentoring and job-skill development
✔️ Can take direction and demonstrate willingness to learn
✔️ Can follow safety guidelines in a structured group setting
My approach integrates cognitive behavioral coaching, positive psychology, and collaborative problem-solving, but more than anything—it’s a fun and rewarding experience!
The program runs three times a week, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9:00 AM to Noon. Choose from one or more of the eight weeks available.
